Hahahaha. I literally just said that a drum poll will pop up on here now.

Yes from me, canton was much more lively today
Mon Jan 02, 2012 7:46 pm
100% yes. We actually created a slightly decent atmosphere today because of it.
Mon Jan 02, 2012 7:46 pm
It's a decent idea and improved the atmosphere but the person banging it just sounded like a kid with special needs that had been handed a drum. We need a professional or at least someone that understands the concept of rhythm and timing.

I thought it was over used but I'm not against it if used properly

fair enough reasoning there, anything would be better than the silence of recent home games

Great atmosphere, especially at the beginning of the second half, when we were penned in to our own half for about ten minutes,,,really lifted things.

Surely it's a Drum Roll?
Mon Jan 02, 2012 8:33 pm
Loved the drum. Great atmosphere in the Canton, just need a bigger one so the Ninian dwellers can here it. DEFO have it for Palace!
Also what were those boys doing up there? Did they arrange it with the club or something? They sure did get things going
Mon Jan 02, 2012 8:34 pm
im not a fan of drums etc but i honestly thought the drums were great today and noticed some in the canton teaming up well with it
Mon Jan 02, 2012 8:34 pm

3-0 45 mins ,
nothing more to say
Mon Jan 02, 2012 8:49 pm

Spot on. We need someone musically inclined to play the drum. Fairplay to Vince he did a cracking job, just lacked in some parts where it was slightly out of time. Also sounds like the drum skin could do with tuning, it sounded badly out of tune!

The drum had a massive effect on the teams performance today....not only it lifted the atmosphere of the Canton stand, it transferred to the players as well. In my opinion it played a significant role in the winning performance, with the fans constantly behind the team.
