New Year-- Old Friends.

Fri Dec 30, 2011 4:03 pm

The new year is almost here and those of you in your forties and fifties ought to take this opportunity to visit old friends and relations and exchange old memories and great times with them while you and they are still here. As my time drifted by I told myself I would get a bus back to the valley and meet up with old team mates and City fans and girls I once courted. Sadly, I let
the idea drift and the years rushed by.
Now I'm pushing eighty and the football pitches have been plowed under, the cinemas and dance halls pulled down and everyone I was ever close to has gone. I bitterly regret putting off the meetings I could and should have had with them before all the doors were slammed shut. Don't make the same mistake that I made; get out and shake some hands before the doors finally close.

Happy New Year Carl.,
Every time I've tried to post a longish piece on a message board, I've run out of time so I've given it up.

Cefn,
A great new year to you too. City fans should be comfortable with each other wherever they come together. I've no time for this constant nagging. No one is perfect ----- though I come close.

Cheers

I understand what your saying Cal as I have had the same problem previously but before I hit submit I copy the piece first.

Another option for you with the review is to copy it as it is because you have already typed it out and just paste it as a post on here.
