Leo is my legend. I tell you this for nothing. Yes he couldn't hit a cows arsed with a banjo but he was a great target man. Defenders couldn't predict what he was going to do next, yes, simply because he didn't know what he was going to do either. However what he was very good at was receiving the ball and knocking it down on the ground. Okay he didn't know where he was knocking it but niether did anyone else.

These little knock-downs though were bread and butter to all the other City players around him. Scot Young's goal against Leeds, that historic winning goal that Scott will go down in history for. Yes it came from Leo receiving the ball and knocking down. I have no doubt that the Leeds defenders didn't know where the hell the ball was going and what the hell Leo was doing. But Scott did, he was used to Leo.

And, most of the goals that Earnie scored for Cardiff came from Leo. Earnie was there to pick up the scraps and he became very good at doing that, but it was Leo who was the maker of the chaos and the provider of the scraps. Tell me this. How many goals have Earnie scored witohut Leo on the pitch? How many did he score when Leo WAS on the pitch. I rest my case.

He was immense that day,will never forget people around me gutted to have to admit it though.

I loved Leo, a great player he wasn't but effective he was.
When we were wasting mass amounts of money in division 3 on awful players he was one who gave us value for money.

His best game I seen him play was Reading away and he scored two driving headers in a 2-1 win

I was there that day, all the hype all week was about Reading not conceding a goal in a several hours. Leo played up on his own and completely destroyed their back four on his own.

I was towards the front of the stand and when Leo got his 2nd he was virtually in the stand celebrating with us.

Earnie scored a fair few before and after Leo. A lot were with Peter Thorne a player who could pick a pass or flick it to where he wanted to actually put it.
