How Long?

Tue Dec 27, 2011 7:14 pm

I'M wondering how long it will take for the rosies to realise that its all well and good having a good work ethic but when it's not matched with quality your not going to progress very far,i fear that teams are beginning to realise that if you shackle Wittingham there is not much else to worry about...Malky must now understand that playing boring football is acceptable to most fans as long as the team is winning but once it starts growing pear shape unrest amongst the faithful is guaranteed, one more warning for Malky is if he thinks that only two signings is required think again

I think that us 'rosies' understand that this is the start, even Malky has said it will take a few windows to get the team/squad assembled.
we are still carrying costly dead wood from the previous regime and MM had to act hastllly to get what squad we have now.

we are over the moon with the results and work ethic, even when it is clear that quality is lacking on times and nailing Whitts seems a way to stop us at the mo.
Consolidation was the theme and top 10 our pre season target.

what a lot of us think is that , if we have done so well with what we have now, why not get that quality in now and 'go for it'.
although - if this will break the bank, then we are happy to wait till next season.

but surely, it would boost season ticket sales and interest/value, if we were to push on - given we are where we are at this point of the season.

love what MM and his staff are doing -onwards and upwards :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
