COULD RUDY DO WITH A LOAN SPELL??

Mon Dec 26, 2011 11:56 pm

Do you think Rudy would benefit from a loan spell??

since his inj his performances in the last two games have not been good enough . he def needs game time and maybe a loan spell to league 1 may get his fitness and sharpness back.. at the moment i cant see what he is doing that earnie is not capable of..

He's still young and as you said, he's been out injured and hasn't started since returning. He'll be back! :ayatollah:

it doesn't seem like he is going to start many matches at the moment.. difficult when coming back from inj, but i feel a loan spell may do the trick for a month or so and would probably get him more game time...

I agree tbh, I've never been that impressed by him but haven't said anything negative because of the hype and the West Ham assists silenced me for the passed few months.

I think he's very clumsy and can't do much at all with his feet.

Eddie is truly unique; one of a kind  On a serious note, he's a much, much better player than Eddie, of that there is no doubt.

I just read 'oh but he loves the fans' as if they know he aint the best but lets give him the benefit of the doubt cos hes a nice guy.

The chants for rudy seem somewhat ironic to me.

i slightly agree there.... we dont want a mr im lovely nice guy, we want someone who can play football.. plus at 24 if he doesnt have any composure in front of goal now, he never will ... 15 appearances two goals and one assist in the first game of the season is not really the quality that we need.. i say loan him out , see how he does and go from there...

No actually jinx there was a rudy thread long before yours tonight.

I am pro-hudson so its not a case of being a scapegoat. I dont think Rudy is up to this level, Just my opinion.

i think he needs a minimum of a month or two on loan. depending on who comes in jan then maybe til end of season. hes relatively young and jumping countries. mason has done well because hes come through the league where as rudy is having to adjust to a whole new life etc. i reckon a little time lower down to get his bearings and confidence back and itll do him wonders.

Ramsey came on a short loan to us in Febuary and it did him the world of good. I think a League 1 team that he's get into the staring lineup of would be great, he needs regular football and I dont think we need to take the risk giving it to him at the moment

have never thought he was good enough at this level, and i don't feel he has proved me wrong yet
put him on loan to play games and score goals and get some confidence, presuming we sign another striker that is

Wouldn't want to see Rudy loaned out. He was doing great before the injury, he'll come good again.

please explain this? He has never been great to be honest, his fitness has never been up to it, he cant score goals and he has a head like a 50p piece.

Maybe you've been watching different games, but Rudy's been voted man of the match at least twice that I can remember.

a short term loan spell would be good for all parties involved.. we dont have to ship rudy out perm, get him game time etc. with a lower league club for 1/2 months...

As ive written before

RUDY IS OUR NEW LEO FORTUNE WEST

a squad player who is better than parkin and different to Earnie.

it depends on who and what terms we sign a striker and whether Nat Jarvis improves as to whether he goes on loan or not. he played his heart out before injury - is he top six championship player - i don't know.
