1978 away at Westham Utd with Cardiff. The worst I have ever experienced. The whole story of the day is in my latest book "MY STORY ". One I will never ever forget.

Here we go for me 4 come to mind ,sorry not much good on dates, chelsea away when tony evans scored, arsenal away fa cup replay(stuck in the middle of the old clock end)think willie young scored winner for them, talking about clocks that game at pompey, and southend away in fa cup ,went up on coach from Barry with some top blokes not to sure at the time who they were as me & my m8(we were in our mid-teens at the time)would just go to cardiff bus/train station and jump on any coach that would have us(oh the good old days it was like that back then),later found out Frankie, peg leg ,veggie were but 3 of top blokes on that coach.

i went to millwall 86 with blues.best part of 700 zulu .still very erry and a place you didn,t want to be caught on your own.millwall away 96 .i think it was a sort of bubble game.only 5 or 6 offical coaches.i ,in my wisdom hitched and trained it in.got to ground and they wouldn,t let me in without a ticket.i started walking up the road an loads of wall came out of pubs picking objects so i went back to bus compound by away end and asked a driver for a lift back north after.i listened to game on his coach radio.one of the coaches had a pellet gun hole in the window.seemed to take ages for o.b to clear streets after game.cardiff ,was it 95?between xmas and new year.noon k.o.went with an ex an another girl plus a lad who was active but had a broken leg.thought we,d just go as fans as such and have a gander round cardiff before game.you had mobs out everywhere ,even outside mcdonalds.i knew that day that it wasn,t hype about the soul crew.everywhere at 10.30 in morning.

Spurs away 1975 76 i think in ground hour after game they come in couple of bottles in the cardiff end and just as bad outsideafter game. And before the game and duing the game just as bad top days.

Theres got to be a book in the making here...
On a more serious note, has there ever been a time when you genuinely feared for your safety, again where and when..
for me Reading home 2 yrs ago, jumped on the train back to Neath, to find the buffet carrige rocking with "jacks" returning from Brizzle game, awkward 45 mins to say the least.

Think it's the same game as Annis wrote about in his book!
Nasty bastards!!
Got hit by a coin at the final whistle and my dad went mad at the cops for not letting us out!

Central Park is a dump, fits in well in Cowden! Was at the first ever game at Stirling's new ground, won 3-2 the place was full, only time there was any real atmosphere in all of my visits there.

Wasn't the old ground called anfield? New one was a quarter full (800 or so) and more atmosphere in my local wetherspoons on a tuesday morning

Yep Annis, same place for me but in 79/80. They were throwing friggin golf balls with nails through em from the enclosure to the left! Swore I'd never go back there again, then we drew them in the 5th round of the cup later in the season and I did! Got the same treatment though!

Indeed it was Anfield mate. We played the last game there too, they had an awful astroturf surface that sank when you stood on it, that was 1992 I reckon.

Wales v Holland mid 90s at the Arms Park. ABouot 17/18 years old. Wearing a big bright salmon SI jumper so not exactly blending with the crowd.
So drunkn could barely stand or talk, left game to get train back to Merthyr. Along come about 30 jacks, two hem grabbed me said "your coming with us" and started walking me to platform. Luckily a copper spotted this and sorted it out.
Soon sobered up at the thought at what could have happened.
