john terry and Luis Suarez

Thu Dec 22, 2011 11:32 am

On Tuesday it was Luis Suarez. Wednesday, John Terry. Having sent such a strong message by banning the Liverpool player for eight matches and fining him £40,000
i really didnt think luis suarez said anything to evra but he must have because he has been banned for eight games and fined by the fa so hopefully john terry gets what he deserves because people saw what he said and then everybody involved in football can come together and finally rid football of racism

You have no idea do you! Suarez called Evra "el negrido" which he admitted, translated this means "little black man" therefore deemed a racist comment. Terry called Anton a "blind c**t" Anton thought he called him a "black c**t" the cameras then picked up Terry saying "i called you a blind c**t not a black c**t" Only reason Terry has been charged is because the police dont want to be seen as covering for the England captain, they can blame the judicial system when he's found not guilty.

That video only shows his mouth moving. In fact he was just passing comment of how badly and lazy that Palace player was at working in pubs. That's all he said to him was "I think you are a slack bar steward".

His other comments of "Eat my cake, muddy funster" were also in jest.

suarez even admitted he said something to evra once, but it was a word that in his home country is not a racial word and deemed as normal, over here, its racist.

The FA banned him for the comments but the only proof being one word against another i feel that the appeal will reduced the ban as in any court this would not hold up.

john terry may be in a bit more trouble as people have recordings of his statements, whether he says blind or black im not sure but atleast there i sproof there.

lastly its very naive to think this small case will even touch the sides of racism in football !! it happens on a weekly basis in most countries across the world and imo will never be controlled under this inadquate governing body

He admitted saying something, but show me where he has said 100% that he said the word that you are saying he said?! As far as I'm concerned he said something, Evra says he said something else, and Suarez has now been punished unfairly.

he's admitted saying "el negrido" which isnt counted as racist in uruaguy.

i know it happens week in week out but its the biggest cases that the world is going to see not the racism that people see in the lower leagues

Re: john terry and Luis Suarez

suarez was madee a scapegoat, yet that cock in charge of FIFA gets away with what he said

its all a f*cking joke

Even Ian Wright has said its a farce, and he will jump on any racism bandwagon.

Re: john terry and Luis Suarez

its a harsh ban on suarez, his english is obviously not going to be great and if he said "el negrido" which in uruagry is no t racist then he should be shown leniency even though he is technically guilty under the FA rules

as for john terry he has previous for being a sneaky liar but i honestly dont believe hes a racist either

Problem is that he is England though.

Why did he say anything? Was he just being nice?
I doubt it, he said whatever he said to have a dig at him.

TBH it is opinions like that (presuming guilt or maliciousness) which is the real problem. Evra is a little weasel and has no idea what being a real victim of racism is like.

Nobody has any idea why Suarez said what he did. All we know is that he had the good grace to admit saying it. That alone would make him a far more honourable and honest person than Evra and if it came to one word against another then Suarez’s honest word would count for far more than that whinging cry baby Patrick Evra.

What's 'friendly' got to do with it? They were playing for opposite sides so 'friendly' doesn't come into it.

As I said Suarez gave an honest account when he could have simply denied all knowledge and the case would have died because it would have been one word against another.

Evra has a history of making accusations against people claiming racism (Chelsea ground staff ffs) and I simply wouldn't believe a word he says as he is a serial complainer/cry baby.

Against that we have Suarez who gave a plausible honest explanation which was rejected simply because of the FA's spat with FIFA.

Re: john terry and Luis Suarez

Thu Dec 22, 2011 4:16 pm

I use the word friendly because he claims he said the word as its normal word in his country.

If its not being said in an adearing way then he is using the word to have a dig at him and in turn the dig is about his colour.

Again whats the difference between him saying that or me turning around to a ginger person and having a go at them for the colour of their hair?! There is none.

I can't quite get my head around this, "El Negrido" means little black man which, correct me if I'm wrong, Evra is just that, "El Blancido" mean little white man, if Kenny Miller was called that by Yakubu for instance, would that be classed as racist??? Now don't get me wrong, I am far from a racist by any means of the word but things have to have a balance and Evra is a cry baby and a c**t that uses the colour of his skin to cry out racism. Some people use the word black to cry out racism also but the word white against somebody is NOT even looked at.

Rant over.

Why did he feel the need to say anything at all to Evra?

Re: john terry and Luis Suarez

Thu Dec 22, 2011 5:56 pm

Whatever you think of Evra he does not deserve to be spoken to in a manner that he finds offensive, cultural difference or not. Suarez deserves his ban even if it is a little harsh. This is the same guy who has previously been suspended for biting an opponent.

I reckon they should do as it is totally unexceptable.

And slavery and maltreatment disappeared a long time ago let it go. No one is still alive who was in the slave trade. I suppose you are of the believing all us Whites should apologise for the bad behaviour of our fore Fathers !!.
But present days, Black repression and slavery and slaughter on the genocide level is carried out by other Blacks. Somalia, Uganda sri Lanka, ETC ETC so leave the moral shit behind will you.

Oh no I'm not saying we need to keep apologising. I'm just pointing out that bringing someone's race into things has much bigger connotations than just hair colour etc.

Suarez has admitted to using the word so almost certainly it was used in the same 'friendly' context that it is used in South America where it is not considered racist.

Again you are presuming Suarez is guilty of using intended racist language by inventing petty reasons. That is not helpful and is so typical of the hysterical way that racism is dealt with these days.
