Is Alex Nimely the striker we're after?

Tue Dec 20, 2011 4:46 pm

Been trawling through the English and Scottish leagues to try and find strikers with the initals A.N after Carl's post and this is the most likely player i could come up with.

He's a 20 year old, 5ft 11 striker who plays for Man City and is currently on loan to Middlesbrough until January.

Not sure what i'd make of it if it was him to be honest, i dont know too much about him but he doesn't seem to be playing a huge part for Boro.

The only other potential players i've found seem extremely unlikely...
Adil Nabi (a young striker at West Brom)
and...
Alex Nicholls (a 24-year-old striker at Walsall who has 21 goals in 166 appearances)

The phrase "A N other" is commonly used in this country when not giving away a real name, its often used as a pseudonym. Not sure why people are thinking the initials are A N. Surely people have some grasp of the language we speak.

All you have to do now is explain why some think he would be a great signing, whilst others will have a moan :P
