Scottish striker Kris Boyd has terminated his contract with Eskisehirspor, having only played 76 minutes of football since joining the Turkish side in the summer. The former Rangers player will now be allowed to join another club on a free transfer following the termination of his contract, his agent Mark Donaghy confirmed.

He is a handfull and would be a good addition but having only played 76mins of football this season how long would it take him to get match fit.Surely the players that come in should be able to hit the ground running.

I would offer them Parkin, Earnie, taiwo, Gypes for J R.There taking money we need, for watching games not playing. We may as well pay to have extra quality than just a squad player who dont get near the pitch.

Why on earth would they swap one player worth a few million for players worth nothin and in tern prob doubling the wage bill

I know it wont happen but they would be very good players at that level.Maybe enough to get them promoted.

They could prob take them all off city on free transfers anyway.
The wages would cripple them though and they would have lost a sellable asset.

The lad from Watford Marvin Sordell is near the end of contract fast young striker /winger. Which is what we need .We play with 5 across the middle but no real pace out wide. He would do well for us in our team.

Tbh I've never seen him but he seems what we need.
I remember a Watford fan saying he dropped him for second half of the season last year, not sure why. Be interesting to see of he goes back for him and if he wants to come to city
