earnie

just what has happened to earnie, not even on the bench saturday, surely deserves a run out over mason, 10 mins to go and losing saturday, earnie is the type to chage games, wouldve loved to see him come on rather than rudy (who didnt seem right), is he finished or what ??

i agree, i wish he was the one coming on with 15 mins to go and the ball in and around the box for that time.

he hasnt done much wrong but unless we change formation i cant see us using earnie much, big shame imo he still has somethign to offer

How can you question if Rudy is finished or not, the guy has just come back from injury, yes he was poor but just a little rusty and still a young lad. He has had some very good moments for us and played well against Huddersfield in the cup (without his goal we would have no Palace now).

disagree, Mason has done really well when he has come on, scored some vital goals
earnie has to learn to be a bit more of a team player, learn to pass the ball ,then he will get his chance.

Earnie will have his chance, but the games he has played this season has showed that he is not the earnie of old, he has lost his pace so cant go past defenders which wa his strong point, he has to change his game and learn he cant do it all on his own.

Put it this way, IMO this is our strongest bench
Heaton, Gerrard, Macca/Blake, Mason/Gestede ,Earnie
Gerrard i would say can push for a starting spot. Blake can play anywhere across the back or defensive midfield, whereas Macca adds stability and composure to our side. Mason is full of energy but Gestede is great in the air, only use 1 of them. Then Earnie is our impact game changer, he can come on with 15-20 minutes to go and tear the defences apart, like he did at Forest against Swansea, and Wales against Northern Island
