Chatted to Vince Alm today about the Fred Keenor Statue and with Vince now on board and spearheading the fund raising, I feel we can finally see light at the end of the tunnel.

The Club has done their part, allowed 2 friendly matches where they raised about £20,000 odd . The club also did a big function and bucket collection raising thousands. The council are putting up £15,000.

I would love to see the Statue up in the next year.

Someone knocks up a photo of Fred Keenor using 20,000 pixels and fans/companies/just about anyone can buy a pixel for a £1.

You can then click on the individual pixels and see your name/company etc.

I believe some geek did this a few years ago and made a $1m out of it.

We've got no history and we don't need a statue for the seaguls and pidgeons to sit on end of story.

Closest they will come to having anything to do with an FA Cup Final.

Lol. As a fan, I would be happy to never win the FA Cup, if it meant us keeping our Premiership status long term, it's nice to win the FA Cup and it will always be on a clubs CV but to me, the Premiership is where any club should want to be. ATB. Reeco

Dont think they can do that with the price freeze but I know last year they gave fans the option to donate on the forms

There could be a Wembley trip coming up, that could mean 35,000 plus City fans buying tickets, would an extra £1 on the ticket be out of the question?
