" WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT IS NOW "

Sun Dec 18, 2011 8:47 pm

Todays Xmas party at the Cardiff City Stadium.

I would first like to thank Vince Alm, Mark Watkins, Irene Crossmore, Howard Morris(Santa) and Viv Gratfield (all Supporters Committee) for a fantastic day they gave Cardiff City Supporters today and my 3 children, :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
It was probably the best ever Xmas do, Thanks Vince. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Food galore and presents for every child and to suit their age, given by Santa.

As promised Malky turned up today with ' every player " except Miller who urgently had to go to Scotland.
Malky stayed for 3 hours chatting to the fans. :ayatollah:
What a great afternoon and we were able to chat to many of the players and really found Malky one of the most sincere and genuine Cardiff city managers I have ever chatted to. Never rushes you and has plenty to say, today was the longest I have ever chatted to him.

Malky brought his wife and children, plus some of the players did as well, one big happy family.

Malky reminded me he had played at Ninian Park and would like to get the atmosphere in the new stadium the same as it was at Ninian Park.
Malky said Cardiff CIty fans really can be the 12th man. :ayatollah:

For the first time in 7 years, this years Player of the year do, Malky is going back to how it was before Dave Jones days and 2 City players will be on every fans table. Cant wait. :ayatollah:

Like I have said before if ever we go on a bad run as every club does at some point, back Malky and the team 100%. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

that sounds class fair play! but do you back the manager just because he's a nice guy? not saying your saying that but i just hope that his "fan friendly personality" doesnt get in the way of his ability

I back the manager because of his enthusiasm, the type of team he has put together, the bond he has created and because I believe in Malky's ability, 100%. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Sounded like it was a great day for all,
Aswell as the obvious games it's days like that and upcoming do's at the club that I wish I was nearer but that's life as an exile I guess

Certainly a great way of getting involved !

Full credit to MM for bringing every player bar Kenny, great attitude to have and keeping fans happy!

Great manager constantly thinking of the fans :ayatollah:

Sounds a great day and great to see the club doing things properly now. Its always lacked that bit of professionalism which I think they are now starting to get back.

Re the Player of the year awards thats great news about the players, last time they did that I had Loovens and Thomo on my table and had one of the best nights of my life. Thomo had me in a headlock

Cant wait for it after the dissapointment of last years night when a lot of the key players left ASAP and didnt even stay for autographs :ayatollah:

I thoroughly enjoyed today and so did Alison and Angharad, it was great to be around the players who had time to talk, sign autographs and have photos.

But Malky led the way for me today and the fact he took the time to chat with everyone who approached him was very pleasing.

Special thanks to Vince Alm and everyone else involved in making today such a great success.

I've found Malky to be very friendly but also very infectious. His enthusiasm is incredible and I love the fact we have him. How long for? Who knows! Let's make the most of him though. Great work by all at the club. We criticise them when things go wrong but we should praise them when things go right. :ayatollah:

And he wondered why we didn't think much of him
He never showed much respect for us fans at all on comparison with MM

I stopped going to them as well, once again because of their attitudes.

Malky has promised that will never happen while he is at our club. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Be glad u didn't go into the CCS then most the key people like Kay, bellers, Hudson, chops etc didn't mingle with the fans at all. Went as soon as the food was done

I have to say Hudson was totally different today and mingling with our fans, its all about the Management Luke. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I was very surprised at Hudson, maybe he just had plans who knows.
He comes across like a proper captain so iI hope it was a one off.

I know what you mean mate.

He has all the positive media angles covered but you have to admit he has done tremendously well with results so far.

Two or three more players and we could win that league......and then change the head on the new proposed statue :D
