Watching some of the politics this week with the Euro zone etc and the French having a go at us. Can someone please explain to me why our parents/grandparents etc had their balls shot off defending the French from Germany?
Not just because of their recent pop at the UK but generally they tend to hate us Brits with a passion. Have they ever said "thank you" to us for going in and fighting for them? They should be speaking German now if it wasn't for us. Why did we bother?
