WHITTINGHAM IS NOT SUSPENDED

After chatting with both Malky and Whittingham this afternoon I can confirm that Whitts is not suspended for the Watford match as he is only on 4 bookings and not the 5 as is being reported elsewhere.

Whitts said there was confusion as to whether or not he was booked at Peterborough and Malky confirmed that the club contacted the FA and it has been confirmed that Whitts is only on 4 bookings after his latest booking yesterday versus Middlesbrough.

There is an amnesty on bookings on January 1st 2012 where the next time a player will be suspended is when they reach 10 yellows before the second amnesty which is later on the season.

So no booking against Watford or Forest please Whitts.

everyone was loving whitts challenge but after research i was moaning to my mates that i checked and he had one at peterbrough good to hear now this has been settled people have been confused!

Cant be worse then last boxing day? didnt we beat coventry 2-0? well if a win is considered bad then fair play
