AN IDEA ABOUT EMPTY SEATS !

In ninian park for season tickets we used to get a strip of card tickets for the season. So if you knew that you couldn't make certain games then you could give up your tickets to someone else.
I have given my tickets to friends or workmates in the past, as I have now got 4 ambassador season photo cards, if I have any games where my wife and daughter don't go or I can't make it for any reason, I am not prepared to give out my stadium cards, incase they go missing or get lost or damaged.
The cards are a good idea and easy to use but maybe there is some way of having a card ticket as well to pass on to someone else. The only thing though I understand that the club won't make money off this because they are not selling a ticket, but it could be a way of filling empty seats and maybe attract new fans.

Any thoughts ????????

I wanted 2 £10 tickets in the Grandstand for the M'brough game Sat, but was told it was sold out same as the family stand yet there were empty seats everywhere, So in the end I did not get them for my mates, so Cardiff City are the loosers and £20 less in the coffers. This is something which certainly needs addressing as soon as possible.

Stop being a shithouse and just lend your card to someone.

Or ask them to print paper tickets for the match with the seats, then give the paperwork to your friend which they will sign.

What about a website or a part of this site where Cardiff Fans can see the tickets that maybe available to buy or swap. Just an idea. ATB. Reeco

In the end, season ticket holders paid money for their seats, so it's their choice whether to go or not. The only solution is lending your card to someone.

I've only missed 2 home games so far (work )....Both times I've given my ST to a mate, pointless it going to waste

Slightly off topic I noticed the other day when I was in the ticket office that replacement stadium cards now cost £10

They were £3.50

That said maybe that's the way ahead, you pay an extra £30 on your season ticket price and you get printed tickets on request for x amount of games a season if you can't make it to all the games and want to give it away to friends/family.
