Shocking again today.

Should have stayed with hoyte for the second was his biggest mistake.

Put a perfect cross in with his left early on which was amazed no one tapped in.
Seems to be lacking in confidence but a certain starter for sure

Got a feeling if we bring in anyone in January, it will be his position.

If we are to get promotion we need more than 1 good cross in 90 mins from our so called dangermen.

And to think some plums on here would rather his hardworking defence cover to monsieur Bellamy  x 1,000,000,000

Bellamy certainly couldn't play on conways position but it could be tweaked to fit him instead.

Conway was a 6/10 for me.

don cowie was worse than conway yesterday,i have been impressed with cowie all season,he doesnt stop running all game gets involved & is a threat going forward was non existant today,he is not a right winger thats for certain.

cowie would be better playing in kisses role.. thats where he got most of his assists for danny graham last yr... two out and out wingers are needed.. cowie , whitts, gunnarsson in middle for me..

been saying it all season conway poor lacks pace can not cross the ball i havent seen him take on one fullback and go around yet this season he runs so far and stops and cuts back in side send him back to that pub league in scotland a winger is suppose to take on people i am yet to see it we got enough defenders :ayatollah:

Same here.

Yet the plastic apple reckons he is the best winger in the division

Cowie is not a right-winger and would be much better deployed in the centre IMO. That said Malky has his formation and tactics and the way both Conway and Cowie play is an instrumental part of that.

However, both were crap yesterday.

I dont think Cowie touched the ball did he?

I still think conway is a definate starter, when hes not on the pitch we simply have no outlet out wide apart from super kev who at the end of the day is a right back, when conway went off yesterday we became way too narrow, same against leeds which ultimately cost us the 3 points.

Agree though he should be skinning players,i find myself screaming at him just have a go son, when burkey was here hed always run at the defenders

Conway and Cowie fit perfectly into our system, we are very narrow with the width coming from the full backs.

Boro stopped our full backs coming forward so we were relying on Conway and Cowie to keep their fullbacks bus, but they couldn't and they over ran Taylor and McNaughton. Conway and Cowie were average today, I feel this was the reason why.

Conway is definitely not the winger we have been used to in the past, but a Chris Burke type would not fit into MM system. If Bellamy was on the team sheet the oppositions full backs would not be charging forward. :old:
