Earnie being treated unfairly ?

Sat Dec 17, 2011 7:39 pm

whats your thoughts on Earnie's playing time ?

I think that he was a fantastic impact sub for forest and i think he should have a chance at either forest or watford to prove himself as an impact sub, obviously miller/ mason should start but i could see earnie giving defenders a problem if brought on 15-20 mins from time, worth a try ?

earnie hasnt done much wrong since he was here...

we had the ball in there box 5-8 times in the last 20 mins nobody could put it away. earnie imo would of been great to have on

Yeah I agree,

He should of been given a chance or two in recent games!
Not as quick as he used to be but can still be dangerous!
Hope he gets a chance soon!!

He deserves at least that :ayatollah:

he scored 3 in 6 at the start of the season and at times weve needed someone to just score i saw him after the game and was dissappionted not to have started
remember when he came on against swansea for forest : scored and hit the bar :?: :ayatollah:

No idea if it's true at all, someone who I had a work interview with told me this
But he said earnie isn't showing much interest in training, doing his bit but not overally busting a gut and that MM has been dissapointed by his reaction to being dropped, he claimed earnie hasn't even asked why and that MM feels he should be knocking down his door.

My thoughts are today I would have ha the same bench as MM did however just before Rudy came on and certainly after he came on I did feel earnie would have had a much greater impact than rudy.
I didn't think we needed to go so direct so early in the game.

maybe even if malky pulled him over in training and said show me what you can do in training and ill give you a shot, things like this boost players hopes and i really feel that he would make such an impact if we were struggling up front he'll give us that cutting edge,

i totally agree that gestede made no impact today when he came on we went back too old ways relying on the target man, just give earnie a chance and he'll bury it !

I've been saying this for the last month. And i've pointed out how he did against Swansea in the Play Offs. So I think if we used him today he would have scored. Rudy didn't do anything really, and Earnie would have defo put one away in the dyeing minutes.
Hopefully he gets a chance against Watford as he's a quality striker. But the anti-Earnie brigade will be all over this topic soon

i think the reason malky decided to go direct so early was because their keeper was fecking appalling, genuinely the worst keeper i have seen apart from bywater!!
The ball was coming into the box regularly before rudy came on but boro gave us less set pieces after rudy came on so ee couldnt really exploit it

But it was the crosses from wide he was struggling with most. We went so narrow the only balls were from
Turner and let's be honest its easy for them to deal with.

I dont disagree with you but i think that probably was part of malkys reasoning
