viewtopic.php?f=2&t=62971&hilit=+betPersonally I don't see why they don't see why they won't allow non-shareholders to buy shares to help raise funds for transfers in January. Ive been saying this for ages and even asked TG about it in an e-mail.
You could also be wrong, seeing as its still only December. Or am I just letting facts get in the way of a good fortune telling. You know no more than anyone else as to what may or may not happen....do you?

You'll see and when nothing happens then we'll see what propaganda the Malaysians will try and spin.
So are you saying you know something or are you just that desperate to find something to knock the board for.

I dont see how anything has strengthened or weakened your point as its not even January yet.

The Malaysians have lost interest because their gamble of getting us to the Premier League has now failed twice. They will sell up within 12 months to another Asian businessmen. So until then its up to MM and the fantastic 'small' squad he has assembled because unfortunately thats all he has to work with until the new owners come in.[/quote]
Ok lets just for a minute say its true.......does it matter?
For people who have given up,why get rid of DJ(who they are still paying a wage) and replace him with a quality young manager. If they are planning on selling their stake in the club then good luck to them. At least they are handling the whole situation in a professional way. Things get bought and sold every day.
However I dont actually think you KNOW anything, just like to be the centre of attention and best way to do that is by scare mongering and gossip. If and when you have something of substance to discuss perhaps we could chat again.

I wonder if TG will go running to the media to promote more spin after MM's statement..?
Exactly ....just thoughts.Maybe wait until bad things happen before putting a negative spin an anything and everything Malaysian. As you yourself has said, you keep saying the same thoughts so its not likely that anyone will try to steel your thunder should the time come. So why not enjoy the good things that are happening.

So MM's statement today hasn't strengthened my arguement..? In my opinion he's preparing the fans for no signings come the January window.
Not to me no, he said the same a month ago.
He also added he would strengthen an had backing.
Quotes from the eggs mean nothin to me, they are a piss take of a paper

Well its knowledge really but will soon become reality unfortunately.
So how long has this sale been planned, cause you been on this horse for some time now. Anything less than you being a director or the potential buyer leaves you knowledge slightly questionable really.

Why would TG need to do that? He has never said money is available.
MM has said he has in jan for the right type of player at the right price.

I would say since we lost against Reading in the play-offs hense why they have lost interest.
Fair play you really do clutch at straws. Why get rid of DJ...why not give him 12 months notice and let the new Asian owners select their own man.Surely a cheaper option.

TBH MG a sale might not be as unpluasable as some think. But as Bluethrough pointed out it doesn't exactly mean that VT/TG are acting badly in what they are doing.
BTW any idea who the new owner might be?

Yet another negative post. We are third in the league and can't complain as the team and Malky have done brilliantly. We have a defence that is giving nothing away and has plenty of cover, we have two good quality keepers, We are playing 4-5-1 which in effect means we have 6 attackers all of who are scoring at some time or another. Kenny Miller is doing a great job. We've got enough depth in the squad to cover short term shortages of players. Ralls Mason and Gestede can all slot in even if they are not quite ready for extended spells in the team. Blake is good cover for several positions. Earnie and McPhail could also come into their own at some point. We need competition for Conway, we need cover for Miller and Whitts but even if we don't get them we'll probably still do OK with the squad we've got as long as they avoid long term injuries. If we get extra players who would go out? Most likely is Conway but even then away from home he defends well so could still do a job. We are blooding youngfsters properly too, that is the way forward.
Malky has said all along that he is building a team and will not be buying for the sake of it - new players would have to be good to come in on that basis. There's been a few mentioned like Kebe who are worth having but do we want the Machedas and Nile Rangers... big time Charlies, no reputation and with their head stuck up their premier reserve arses... no thanks. But I'd take more of the players Malky has picked so far any day. If we go up that would be amazing, if we don't we'll be stronger next year and acan have an even better go at it once Malky can replace the palyers he didn't buy and is not using.
Why keep up with this doom and gloom all the time... let's look for the positives and support what is happening
