Jimmy Bullard on loan?

I'm hearing from a friend of mine (Hull City fan) that Cardiff have made a very brief inquiry about the possibility of bringing Jimmy Bullard on loan from Ipswich in January.

I am not sure what the outcome of it and likelihood of such a move would be although I am hearing Ipswich may be open to a move as they have failed to impress this season and find themselves in the Championship's bottom half, Jimmy is on £18K p/w at Ipswich so it would make sense to listen to loan offers of at least 50% wages paid.

Would you guys like to see Jimmy at Cardiff? On form he's a cracking talent IMO and tore us apart last season, he also has great passion for the game on the pitch however his time at Hull was surrounded by off-the-field incidences including drugs etc.

If Malky could get the best out of him on the pitch then I think a loan move could work out great for the club.

Witts and Bullard in the same team? I'm not sure.
It would certainly take away from witts performance in the team and wouldn't like to see gunarrson dropped.

Ah, Jimmy Bullard

An enigma wrapped in a riddle shrouded in mystery. Yes, was unimpressed with him few months ago when I thought he ran the show for Tractor Boys. We sneaked a 2-2 draw with a dubious penalty if I remember correctly.

And he was terrible back in March when we lost 2-0 at home to the same team. Perhaps someone could help me out with who scored the 2 goals for them. PS Dont think too hard.

I remember when he was at Fulham not so long ago, Arsenal were interested in him. If Malky could knuckle down on his off-the-field antics I feel on the field his attitude would be a plus, passionate and always joking around, in the squad it could be a benefit. I agree it's a big gamble though, but is it one worth taking?

Also I reckon if we continue with 4-5-1, a Whitts, Gunarsson and Bullard combination could be the perfect balance, with Kiss taking the place of him in tougher games.

Great post, on the last line his attitude and reputation of being a joker could help with the spirit in the camp, we could always cancel the loan (clause) if Malky isn't impressed with him.

If the fee was as low as £500,000 and the wage was as low as £15 a week then I wouldn't mind. Certainly a good player but he has a big ego and is injury prone.
