WDYTO Cardiff City!

Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:01 am

Ok, there's a lot of chat stating that the players and staff read this message board so let's have a 'What Do You Think Of Thread' so the players and staff can gauge what the fans really think of them and how we feel they can improve. This could be constructive if we actually state how we think they can improve.

I'll go first...

Peter Ridsdale: Please just go. You did well when you first came here but you've outstayed your welcome.
Steve Borley: I have faith that you're only doing what's best for this club.

Dave Jones: Please learn how to take constructive criticism. You're a decent manager but when you're wrong you need to learn to admit you just got it wrong. Respect levels will increase ten fold if you master this. Otherwise, good job.

David Marshall: Quality keeper.

Kevin McNaughton: Legend. Best right back outside of the Premiership.
Adam Matthews: Don't leave us yet. You still have growing to do. Need to be more defensively aware.
Anthony Gerrard: Future Cardiff captain. Will definitely follow in Roger Johnson's footsteps.
Gabor Gyepes: Concentrate for 90 minutes. Ability is there but needs more consistency in a game.
Mark Hudson: Improving but still needs to give more to warrant the £1m price tag.
Mark Kennedy: Lot of respect for you and what you've done but this season appears a season too far. Needs to improve passing and positional sense.

Chris Burke: Gives everything and is in with a chance of player of the season.
Peter Whittingham: Slowly slipping into the inconsistent Whittingham of old. Premiership talent but Conference South work ethic. Fulfill that potential mate!
Joe Ledley: Sign the contract, f**k moving elsewhere and get back to the midfield wizard you once were.
Steve McPhail: Rollercoaster player who can be the changing factor in a game. Suffered abuse and adulation from us so hopefully can go on to guide us to the Premiership.
Kelvin Etuhu: Try to avoid injury for a few weeks!
Gavin Rae: Do something! Gets away scandalously by being touted as playing the 'Makelele' role but doesn't. Needs to look for the ball more and stick to his man tighter. Be more brutal!
Aaron Wildig: Keep going son. Improving with every game and didn't look out of place in a midfield surrounded by Lampard, Mikel and Ballack!

Ross McCormack: Forget leaving, you can be vital to us. Naturally one of our most talented players. I'd like to see him on the left with Whittingham in the middle with Wildig but it might not happen.
Michael Chopra: Don't let your head get to you. Seems to much of a confidence player but should realise he can do pretty much anything at this level so believe it!
Jay Bothroyd: Stop falling over and start working harder. The cheap falls and penalties worked last season but the referees are aware now. Start shooting from distance more as well.

I've left out the non-regulars because I'll leave that to you guys. Obviously you don't have to single out every player but just the ones you want to send a message out to.

havent got time to do all that

so short version:

Riddler -Piss off now please.

Dave Jones - Good manager shit connection with people however having read his book it gives me an insight into why the guy maybe not trusting of anyone.

Squad - Small squad more than capable of holding their own with any championship team, Jay stop going over all the time.

Not a problem about not doing everyone Humphry's. I only did a lot because I am bored! Feel free to just single out players if you want. Use it as an opportunity to take them to one side and give them some constructive criticism.

Peter Ridsdale: Dont trust you. You are a liar, please go.
Steve Borley: Hope you sort it all out for us. True Bluebird

Dave Jones: Not convinced you are that good. Look what Martinez and Sousa have done on alot smaller budget.

David Marshall: Best keeper we have had since Alexandra.

Kevin McNaughton: Great full back. Also like the why he gets involves in some of our attacks. Without doubt one of our best players
Adam Matthews: Good start to the season but still needs to grow. If the right price comes in for him then we should sell.
Anthony Gerrard: I think he will benefit being here. I'm not 100% about him but would like to give him more time.
Gabor Gyepes: Did well when he finally got into the team. If we get another Roger Johnson I reckon Gabor will become a back up to him only.
Mark Hudson: Great header of the ball. Just wish he was alot better with his feet.
Mark Kennedy: Good in his time but now running out of steam. We need to find a replacement.

Chris Burke: Definately a good buy. Feel alot happier when he is playing.
Peter Whittingham: Got talent to turn a game. Worth having on the field.
Joe Ledley: Get sorted and lets get him back.
Steve McPhail: Another talented player with a good engine in him. We need him in midfield fully fit.
Kelvin Etuhu: A waste. Too many injuries at a young age.
Gavin Rae: Cant say I have noticed him much. Even when he scores I have to ask who got that one.
Aaron Wildig: Needs to beef up a bit. Dont think he is going ot be another Rambo so need to get stronger for the position he plays in.

Ross McCormack: Hope he does not get too desponded playing second role at the moment. Felt he could have had a good season if it was not for the injuries.
Michael Chopra: Brilliant work engine. Worth having in the team for that.
Jay Bothroyd: Best talent we have. He is lazy though.

Joe Maggenis: I reckon he can make it.
Warren Feeney: He is not comfortable here. Why as he seems to do well at other places? Is this league too much for him or has he not had the chance?
Peter Enks: Good back up keeper.
Darcy Blake: Difficult to say. Needs more time.
Tony Calpaldi: Been struggling since last season. Dont think he is going to get back to his full potential.
Paul Quinn: Dont know.
Salomon Taiwo: Disappointing but I believe he has it in him to be good.
Migual Commingues: This club has been unfair to him. Last season he played mainly on the left. He is a right side player.

Give him a chance, i want him to start tonight, he shows passion and commitment and has scored goals every club, but been given no chance here.
