Below is a list of those players who left CCS recently and a list of the payers Malky has brought in. For me, it absolutely underlines what a fantastic job Malky Mackay has done at the club.
For various reasons, when I look athe departees, the only two I can see that I wished were still here are Chris Burke and Adam Matthews.
For a new manager to replace and improve the rest of squad is unbelievable, given the wages kicking around over the last few years.
WELL DONE MALKY........INTEGRITY, TALENT, COURTESY, HONEST..................PROPER!! GOOD LUCK!

Definately Bellamy and Matthews, maybe Burke and Oli

Bellamy and Matthews without a doubt but would prob have kept Bothroyd too.
Thing is though Malky didnt have the chance to keep any of these but i'm sure he wouldve liked to have kept some himself.

defiently bellers, burkey maybe but he had a poor season and needed to move, bothroyd i would have loved to have kept but his heart want in it anymore
Was glad to have seen the back of the other loan players and getting rid of chops has proven to be a great decision by the club

Bellamy would have been the icing on the cake in terms of the team we have now.

Bellamy obviously. Would have kept Burke and Jay, probably woul've worked well under Malky. Maybe even Oli but maybe not

Bellamy, Burke and Matthews for me. under Malky, Adam Matthews would have had abit more game time...Dave Jones never game the poor boy a chance after that game against ipswich. great tallent lost and another one of our home grown players

Exactly my point.
So of all the big time charlies and sheer number of loanees etc................it's only these three who we would find a place in the team. The rest have been sent along and replaced with players we prefer over them. In six weeks and with no money!!
I think Malky has worked a miracle.
And each of the young professionals we now have seem to be prepared to listen to him and run through a wall for him.
Happy days!!

Imagine the damage Bellamy would be doing this season in our current system down the left in Conway's position. Saying that, Bellamy wouldn't perform like he is at Liverpool this season because his knee wouldn't handle the extra games in the Championship and we would either have to rest him for some games, or keep playing him with his knee preventing him from hitting that extra 10% that he's showing with Liverpool this season.
