They are all over it on the youtube comments and most of the news shows have picked up on it now. Apparently the lad has been to the police to make a complaint. The conductor is off until Thursday but I'm sure he'll get dragged in upon his return. Could do with more big men on the trains!

I looked into a c hange of career a few years back and they were advertising for train drivers and train conductors , which for this area it wasnt bad money, but then when i weighed up the pros and cons f**k having to deal with all the morons on the late night trains.

Ive always found the decent guards are the ones who treat you with a bit of respect, and then they get respect in return then. many a time caught the train to cardiff for the football and the guard will say "family ticket?" to us even though its just a bunch of lads.

You do get the odd jobsworth though, ones ive seen acting like OB and Football Stewards, I havent got no sympathy for them getting a difficult time off the public.

For me it's all about how you handle and talk to the punters. I like to have a bit of a laugh and banter with folk and 99% of the time there is no problems. Late night trains can be difficult but I try to be reasonable because I know what it's like when I'm travelling on a football train etc.

Then you get an arsehole like the one in the video and it turns your whole night upside down. I've had 2 mobs going hammer and tongs on my train and got more respect out of them(I just left them to it and cleared the coach of normals!), but when someone refuses to pay and abuses you like that it's hard not to crack them one in the jaw. Everyone says phone the Transport Police etc but a) they ain't interested and b) much of the journey is in a remote location where they are 30-50 miles away and by the time they meet the train the c**t has got off and is long gone.

i drive around Edinburgh on bus late at nite, i wish i had Bigman on my bus at times..

it was getting dark outside bigman probably been on the train two hours, had pie and chips on the table ready when he got in, I doubt he wanted to be held up by some little scag head who wants to be on train spotting

Jaaaaaase the politically correct tw*t was condeming Big Man, saying he had no right to throw the kid off the train, and that the guard should have called the police.

Then a caller from Newport rang saying two yobs got on a train in newport and started abusing two young girls so he threw one of them off the train, after they had squared up to the guard, and Jaaaaase called him "Brave".

The man, his dad AND uncle(who didn't want to be named?) have all given accounts of the story and there is various discrepancies in them. I hope the lad gets a kicking just for being an arsehole. I also hope the guy who filemd it(who the BBC paid to travel to London to go on TV) gets a slap as now two decent people are in trouble and the bloke who tried to skip the train and then verbally abuse someone is turning into a media darling and will be looking for compensation.
