With the current financial situation at Pompey, if we could take advantage of this by signing players from then at a knocked down rate who if any would you take ?

The same could be happening at Hearts FC - And we know MM likes a Scottish player ;) :ayatollah:

Not sure if there is a mistake here but that page says it was last updated on the 7th October 2008

I'm not up to scratch on the financial state of Scottish clubs so are Hearts in trouble now or was that one from a previous crisis?

Not one under 30 years of age with the others 33, 35 and 37. I don't think we will be in much of a rush to get the cheque book out.

Question is how many others clubs will be. :? :? :?

Tony Hearts have debts of over £20m and have been struggling to pay their way since their parent company Ukio Banko Investicine Grupe started to hit the rocks. Hearts players have not been paid for November, although each player was given £1k, and have been told they are unlikely to be paid on time in December.

Believe it or not their monthly wage bill is £216k (£2.6m per annum) and that tells you alot about the state of scottish football finances as that is about 1/3 of the lowest Championship budget.

The smart money is on Hearts going into administration pretty soon and if HMRC get their way Rangers won't be far behind. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Wouldn't it be nice to be 20 million in debt. It's weird that we are more in debt than them and talking about stripping their club.

rumours are winger david templeton has been offered to rangers for £500K. £500K is an absolute steal for this boy. very talented and would sell for much more than that in a couple/few years. if not straight away.

andrew driver is their other winger. he's been unlucky with injuries but is still a good player.

hearts are in real trouble and willing to offload templeton for £500K. he's one i would love to see in a city shirt. :ayatollah:
