Same as last year!

Thu Dec 08, 2011 2:20 pm

Not on about the football but the tele. I bought the Christmas tele book last night and was a bit excited looking forward to a good film like over the festive period.

And as last year I was quickly dissappionted by what's on offer. Not very good at all. I wanted a bit of Great Escape or the original Italian Job or other great Christmas films like that :D

I'm not a happy chappie.

I'm out of a job this time next week, so lots of DVDs will be played. Plenty to see me through to New Year, then I'll have to get off my arse and find a new job.

I've got the above films on DVD, so no problem!

I've got the films on DVD but I can't be arsed to put them on myself. I'd much rather whinge at the TV people for not putting them on for me.

Thanks, mate.

I've known since August 2010, in fairness, so I've had time to get over it and I'll be paid enough redundancy to pay the bills for a while until I get a new job.

Not happy with the decision taken, though, because it's a poor one, but my employers are known for bad decisions. Hopefully, I can forget about all that shite and move on. Everything on the pitch is fine right now, but off it (for me, anyway) is not all rosy. Not going to let it get me down, though.
