But i'm afraid this battle to stand up in the ninian stand looks like one you're not gonna win. for one reason or another its seems like a lot of fans around want to sit down to watch the game. i suppose there isnt a lot the club can do about this if they're receiving complaints
My question is why dont you all come over to the canton stand. Its cheaper and i havent once been asked to sit down. I know this is not ideal for many of you but i believe we can create a better atmosphere if we were all in the canton stand.
Last year i went to watch Roma VS Lazio and all the noise comes from behind both goals (the curva's) the roma ultras were in the curva sud (south) and the lazio fans were in the curva nord (north) and the atmosphere was incredible! it really made the hairs on my neck stand up. I've been to a few other italian games and the same has applied the atmosphere has always come from behind the goal
I believe thiis can be replicated at cardiff and the ccs can become on of the loudest grounds in britain again.

Because I dont like watching the match from behind the goal at home games, I have not done that since 1982 in the old Canton Stand. Since then I have watched City from the centre of the Bob Bank and then 7 years in the Upper Grandstand at Ninian Park Section A.The last seat in Section A to Section B.I like watching football from the side of the pitch. What is wrong with sections 116/117/118 being allowed to stand ? You are then left with most of the Ninian Stand sitting, Family section Sitting and the Grandstand sitting.

well my problem with you is you would blame world war 2 on cardiff stewards if you could
stewards work on their job description we complain very rarely
and to be honest when we do complain its normally ignored by the club
and the steward who does complain normally find their P45 in the post

Agree with this. Nothing wrong with banter, the atmosphere is improved by this and people can't say it doesn't because it does at most football grounds.

totally agree annis ive always been on the bob bank in the 80s and in the 90s mostly the grandstand lower i prefer watching from the sides not behind the goals. cant see why they cant make 116-117-118 standing or more tolerable to fans who stand to sing..

Spot on Annis. the old days of walking where you wanted. I always ended up middle Bob Bank late 80s, where a lot of the singing started from. times that will never be replicated.
I feel sorry for the newbies attending matches, they will never know what they missed, golden times.
I cant see why they cant have a standing section in the Ninian stand, say 20%. this will then stop all the problems, plus keep 80% of the Canton stand standing.
