You are probably correct about the FA, TA but the investigation into his dealings with WH Sports is being carried out by an independent insolvency firm. It is my understanding that one of the possible outcomes is to disqualify him from being a company director if there is evidence he liquidated WH Sports just to avoid paying VAT/Copoaration Tax and other liabilities.
I can remember him clearly stating that all of WH Sports debts would be cleared by December 2009 only for that to be moved back to July 2010.
It is now December 2011 and he still hasn't settled the debts he left behind.
If he was disqualified from acting as a company director then I am pretty sure it would be impossible for him to be employed as the Chairman of a football club.
