As a City and USA supporter I would be thrilled to have him play for the national team. We need somebody like him up front. We have a few quick strikers, but thinking of them (Eddie, Altidore, Findlay, Buddle) always brings to mind "cows' arses" and "banjos" for some reason... The national team here often plays with a lone striker and Dempsey or Donovan off of him so a big target man like Rudy would fit the bill. Hope Jurgen can get Rudy, I am optimistic as it looks like he is already very interested. I think at the very least he should be given a shot.
