the list for the worst on all would be massive but for me the worst chairman is rick wright alot more could be said before him but my reasons for lising mr wright was he started to awake city unlike many chairman before him,he introduced many good ideas but when the crowds started to raise and many people become interested incardiff city again he just walked away .as for the manager eddie may is top at the moment he brought a bit of passion to the sidelines just like malky has so far this year

Rick Wright for me Annis when it comes to Chairman as he lived off the success of Eddie May and then gave Nathan Blake away to Sheffield Utd 3 days before an FA Cup 5th Round game against. All this after charging £24 for my seat in the Grandstand (remember this was the earlt 1990).

Best manager was Jimmy Scoular because he achieved so much on very limited budgets, also manager over great wins against Real Madrid and many other great European nights. Was manager last time we reached the League Cup semi final in 1966. But now with every game that goes by I'm becoming more convinced that Malkay Mackay is our best manager in my lifetime. Not just because of our League position or the Carling Cup Semi Final but because he has turned this club on it's head in 6 months and has reminded me why I love our club.

Worst manager is easy for me Alan Durban an absolute wankstain.

The kumer brothers, they had no intention of putting a penny into the club.
Bob grogan, only time would have told us but to me he was going to take us all the way until hie tragic death.
Jimmy schoular, his drive and ambition was there for all to see, if only he was allowed to keep toshack he would have got us promoted.
Allan durban, there is no need for any futher comment.

In Rick Wright's defence he did what he said he would do. And, without him we wouldn't have been seen as the sleeping giant we were regarded as. When Sam first heard of Cardiff City it would have probably been when we got 20k v Shrewsbury when we won the division 4 title.

Worst chairman for me has got to be Tony Clemo, he used Cardiff City to subsidise his travel company and sold us down the swanny.

My favourite chairman has to be Sam Hammam, his passion for our club and the Welsh culture was second to none and on a personal note he helped me with my bar in Tenerife

My favourite manager before Malky has to be Eddie May for the passion he brought to this great club.

The guys running the show in 1971. They deliberately stopped us going up to the old forst division.

Who is your favourite chairmen and why ?

Sam Hamman, took us on when no one wanted us and won 2 promotions for us. I think I will wait to here his side of the story before I change my mind.

Jimmy Scoular, nearly got us there against all odds unlike some manager who was given everything.

Best ever is tricky as I grew up with Eddies Barmy Army and Alan Cork for Match only will forever be held in the highest esteem, whist Moans took us to wembely so many times we can say we are now bored of the place....

I am generally dubious of the motives of most City chairmen. However, i seem to remember Steve Borley briefly occupying the hotseat,so it would have to be him.

All time favourite manager? Either Eddie May or Frankie Burrows. Malky is rapidly getting up there too. Hugely impressed so far.Dave Jones deserves a mention too but he stuck around too long.

Worse ever manager? Hibbitt or Osman.

Annis, there would be a potentially long list which COULD include either of our previous TWO Chairmen who could (ironically) BOTH be listed amongst our best for differing and opposing reasons

However, for me (in my time) it HAS to be Rick Wright

Why? Simply because he came, he saw, he put up, he put Wright ( ) and he cleared off when it would have been so much easier (and maybe profitable) to stay and see the job through whilst we were on a roll!!

All the others (except maybe Kenton Utilities post-Bob Grogan) actually WANTED success for Cardiff City even if their methods were found to be a little wanting!!

Managers?? Kenny Hibbit and Phil Neale take some beating for differing reasons!!

Hibbit just not good enough and Neale (a capable manager) a total 'tosser' for jumping ship at the first opportunity of a so-called 'bigger' club!! (I was so pleased it didn't work out for him!! )

Being a young 'City fan theres not much choice but i'll go with what i've read in 'City books, internet, other forum members.
Worst Chairman - Don't really know but in my time, The Riddler

Best Chairman - Rick Wright, brought in some quality and turned the club around. Or Sam Hammam, don't really need to explain why, but he did get us into debt. Sounds like a nice guy though (especially after Leeds FA Cup )

Best Manager - Eddie May or Jimmy Scoular, but if he keeps up what he's doing it'll soon be Malky

Worst Manager - Only been 2 managers in my time, so Dave Jones.

Worst Chairman well there is to many to mention. Wright the Kumors, Clemo, Ridsdale,
Best Chairman for saving our Club is TG and Sam Hammam. But there is the flip to Sam as well as on that Black Friday i hated him more than Poll Pot
Best Manager is Eddie May, but i hope to add Malky to that as well

Steve Borley - putting money into our club out of his own pocket to save us, building our stadium, I appreciate Sam Hammam saw our ambition and potential and lifted us to where we are now, but if there was no Steve Borley, there would be no Cardiff City imo.

Your favourite all time manager and why ? Is it too early to say Malky? The job Malky has done this season has been incredible so far. If I had to pick someone else, it would have to be Eddie May.

Your worst ever manager ? Kenny Hibbett, his excuse for us being unable to sign players because Cardiff is not in an attractive geographical location was ridiculous!
