Great programme & a fitting tribute to who was clearly a great man and a very proud Welshman.
Reviewing Speed's background and what he did out of sheer passion makes you feel proud to be from our great country.
What a shame his Welsh career was cut short as we appeared on the verge of a golden era that promised so much, and what an absolute tragedy for his family and friends his death has caused.
The FAW now have a huge task to appointing his successor, as Speed set quite a high benchmark in terms of player engagement and approach/performance. The players also know that anything less than 110% commitment towards their country is unacceptable in their quest to reach a major tournament.
RIP Speedo, you'll be sorely missed by many.

Agree fella. Fitting programme. Not sure the FAW will have that a difficult task. Gary has made us a very attractive proposition. Certainly couldn't have been said before he took charge.
Give it to Hughes. Whoever takes charge , come the first qualifier the team won't need a team talk. They will be playing for one person.

Hughes is the natural choice out of the calibre of Welshman available, but not sure if that would be a backwards step. I wonder if the FAW are brave enough to give Saunders a go?

I agree a very well done program. The song at the end got me! Always loved it, since they had it as an advert for the up and coming Wales games, with a ball bouncing across the words... But hearing it sung here for speedo brought it up another level! Will always be a song for speedo aswel as welsh football for me now.
