I am gutted we drew Palace

Fri Dec 02, 2011 4:19 pm

After we had beaten Blackburn, I was delighted that we had such a great chance to draw a huge team and get to play then home and away. It wouldn't have been brilliant. I can't believe we ended up with Palace. I know we have a great chance to get to the final, but still fed up we missed out on Man city, Liverpool or Man Utd. I knew Palace would win and we'd draw them. Man Utd played a weakened team and Palace scored wonder goals. Damn it!

My worry is that it might effect our league form more if we lose to palace than it would if we lost to say man.u or man city were we wouldn't have as much presure to win, we could have just injoyed it against a big team!

I see what you mean, it's nice to have a day out but it's not always about drawing big teams, I'm not bothered about them to be honest. But as you said, this is a massive chance to get to Wembley again. The atmosphere home and away against Palace is going to be class. :ayatollah:

I understand what you're saying mate but i disagree for a couple of reasons.

1. It's my dream to watch Cardiff in Europe again, having been too young to properly enjoy it last time.

2. It'd be hard to beat a top flight team over two legs, whereas anything can happen in a game on any given day.

if we do beat palace, i think we would have very little chance of beating man city or liverpool.

Palace would been my opition!
But i dont care i just want the boys do the best they can and put 100%!
This is a dream come true for players like Mason, Ralls (even had a taster), Gunnarsson who are all young and loving every bit of this and they will do everything to get to the final! :ayatollah:
