United duo may leave on loan
Ferguson wants more action for Macheda and Diouf
Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to send Federico Macheda and Mame Biram Diouf out on loan in the wake of Manchester United's shock Carling Cup exit to Crystal Palace in midweek.
And with opportunities to give his fringe players time on the field now limited, Ferguson believes some members of his squad could benefit from a spell away from Old Trafford.

If ferguson wants them to go out on loan himself then maybe they'd waiver a large percentage of the players wages. I think both can and will do a tidy job in the championship..... and with Malky being a fellow Scot maybe he might gain a slight advantage? (straw clutching!)

Malky has worked closely in the past with Man Utd in the past I had dinner with Malky a few months back at tne League managers dinner an he was telling me about the 4 year plan Man Utd had for Cleverly and that his time at Waford was year two of that plan and how pleased Man Utd were with his development
if Fergie has confidence in Malky as he seems to have I am sure Malky could get players from them if he wants them

What would these players bring and at who's expense?Would Malky have to promise that these two would get lots of games or would Fergie be content with them playing regularly off the bench.

i think they would do alright in our league, i think we would have signed one of these by now if man u had got knockered out in the earlier rounds

They were on loan in Serie A and the Premier League last season. I can't see Fergie wanting them to drop down to your level

macheda , I could definately see him fitting in the set up,
mason slot behind millar, question is does he have the right attitude,

They both want to come and play for a team that has not lost to a premier team this season.

Macheda was utter rubbish against Palace and Diouf not much better. Neither of them worked very hard and I can't see them appealing to Malky!

Agree with above, they were both dreadful. Granted that Diouff was played out wide which isn't his position but apart from his debut goal against Villa, what has Macheda done? He was rubbish by all accounts at Sampdoria last season and Diouff hardly set the world alight at Blackburn. I think we'd be signing the wrong players with these two

Agreed. they were both awful and macheda especially showed poor attitude.

The biggest problem in signing players from the Premiership (especially Man Utd)
is in motivating them to play well. They have dropped down a division, to a smaller
Club, are they happy about it? Do they want to prove people wrong or do they think
they shouldn't have been sent out on loan in the first place. Will they be giving it
large about their £30k a week wages etc??
We got loan players in last season that didnt give a f**k, and it showed

In your last game you lost to a ""reserves" premier team.
