January fixture log jam for us?

League matches, Carling Cup matches and FA Cup matches - gonna be tough, boy do we need a few signings in January.

hopefully we will still be in the mix for the top spots in the league,semi final of the league cup and starting out in the F.A cup and we sign a couple of players to enable us to kick on and have the players that can see us through any amount of games

Didn't Burnley have a run in the League Cup and the FA Cup plus get promoted via the Play-Off's a couple of years ago?
I remember something about Graham Alexander playing 60 games despite nearly being a pensioner
Just wonder how some teams can do it, whilst others seem to fall apart.
