Heaton (8) - Dealt very well with those awkward Pederson corners, I felt confident last night. One dodgy kick but everything else, faultless
McNaughton (8) - Everything you would expect in a normal game from him, was solid, hard working and that great run deserved a goal. passing and control improved. Looks as if he's been working on it
Gerrard (6) - Can't argue with a clean sheet but he was rather clumsy last night. Tried a few silly turns in dangerous areas. Took his header well though, even though it was Kiss' goal
Turner (8) - Solid, great distribution. That ball for Mcnaughton in the second half was sheer class. Still (me being a little picky) lets the ball bounce when he shouldn't.
Taylor (8) - Up and down, up and down. Worked hard and finally received some passes from Conway for his persistent overlapping.
Gunnarsson (9) - seemed to be everywhere last night, made some brilliant challenges and can play football to

great through balls for Miller, getting us 1 assist. Premier League class imo
Kiss (8) - a bit of an unsung hero, he does a lot of the 'dirty work' and covers a lot of ground. very passionate
Whitts (8) - I actually thought it was one of his quiet games

though him dropping into that hole, picking it up and organising and orchestrating play makes us tick.
Cowie (8) - he is the fittest ever City player, doesn't stop. even at 92 mins I noticed him sprinting and overlapping McNaughton to retrieve a ball. Has a great understanding with his full back now
Conway (7) - I still think we have a lot more to come from him. Would love if he used Taylor a bit more but still, covered really well and put some decent ball into the box
Miller (9) - they say he's a big game player and there's not a truer word. He was sheer class, everything you would want a lone striker to do, he did. He held the ball, chased everything, took his goal well and his movement moving into the channels was great to see. He even dropped deep to pick up the ball. still a lot to come from him imo
What impresses me the most about Malkys crop is the middle 3. When whitts sits in front of the back four, Gunnarsson and Kiss do all that chasing and hounding but as soon as Whitts comes forward, one of those two will automatically sit and Vice-Versa. They are all on the same wavelength.
I still think we havn't seen the maximum yet
what a time to be supporting us
