Wow what a tribute, perfect in every way for a man who deserved the very best. This wasn’t just a man, but a man who meant everything to the game we loved, a man who our players could and should aspire to be, the ultimate professional . Ali as always was spot on and can only thank him for his perfect words.
As for the game, well we just dominated a game. Without being OTT we had 11 Gary Speeds playing for us, ive never seen a Cardiff City team win so many balls, and especially so many second balls. These players have feelings unlike last season and made sure it was the perfect send off....
Im not even celebrating, the win, people have asked who I want next and I just don’t care, i dont even know who won tonight, all i praised was we gave Speed the send off he deserve. The Gates were such a tribute, thank you for the memories, they will never be lost RIP Gary Speed
