Play Man U home away is 100000 gate receipts plus on tv twice must be worth over 1mill. A nice war chest for our promotion push in the january sales. :ayatollah: Dont expect to get cheap £15-20 tickets for the semis.

think 15 - 20 average as kids and oldies will get cheaper ones, even if the standard tickect is 25 quid.

also we dont get anything for the away gate reciepts, this isnt the FA cup

If we only get monies from home leg we need to maximise all advertising for this game. :ayatollah:

In terms of revenue, this should be a really good payday for the game!

Here's a brief look at realistic revenue from it...

Ticket Sales

Based on Adult prices of £27.50 and concessions of £15. Call it an average price of £23, given the majority of ticket sales will be to adults...

Home leg revenue:

£23 x 26,000 = £598000

Away leg revenue, 15% of sales based on an average ticket price of £37.50 [realistic Premiership pricing average and attendence average based on the possibility of drawing Liverpool]

Away leg revenue:

£37.50 x 45,000 = £1.7 million

15% of £1.7 million = £190000

TV Money is typically £300,000 a game at this stage of the Carling Cup

TV Revenue - £600,000

Realistically, based on conservative numbers and not taking into account merchandise and advertising sales we're looking at earning at least £1.4 million from this game!

Just to add to 12th Man's post....Let's not forget the money MM has saved in the next 6 weeks on the players loaned out.

( IMO ) The 4-5-6 Players loaned out would be an avg of £20 - £30 k a week in total - we can add that to the kitty ;)
