Think in the League Cup the place just goes to 7th in the Prem. FA Cup runners up can get it, but not League Cup.

I was under the impression that if the winners have already qualified for the Champions League, then the runners up get the place?

For example, Man City and Man Utd will almost certainly qualify for the Champs League, so if it was a City v Utd final, then the position would go to Cardiff or Liverpool?
