agreed totally .i think half the things he says he does it just to get noticed even more and get comments....makes out hes changed ...not a chance of it....i mean you only have to compare the 2 men and he comes nowhere near speed in anything a footballer,professionalism and not even close as a man !

Speed had class, was a decent man' respected by so many people. He was a player who made the most of his talent and someone who would not disrespect others. Speed was also a man who was a true proffesional on and off the pitch. He had time to talk to us normal football supporters.

Barton is none of the above, he is the sort of thuggish modern footballer who thinks he's a bit cleverer than he really is.


The tributes from all over the country and beyond have showed how many people loved and admired Speed. Can you imagine a similar reaction if it had been Barton who had passed away??
