POPULATION OF BLACKBURN

Tue Nov 29, 2011 5:15 pm

Is around the 100,000 mark, o roughly the same as the Rhondda, when you consider how many teams are in close proximity to them, they really have got a loyal bunch of fans. Punching way above their weight, we on the other hand have one and a half million population within easy reach.

when its put like that it,it goes to show how badly supported city are one and a half million population and we are averaging between 22 -22,500 does make you think, massive improvement on the dungeon days but with proper investment how big a club could cardiff city actually be if we could get the south wales public interested in supporting city

take your point about their support and how well their team has done, but the population of the Rhondda is nowhere near 100,000 more like 60,000 these days...
