I don't think it would approriate to have any thumping music tomorrow night before the game. It was a little distasteful yesterday when the Swans announcer kept blaring it out until the teams came out.

can we keep it respectfully muted until kick off?

I don't see the problem with it, its only music. As long as its not anything to do with suicide or death then i'll be okay with it

I didn't know Gary personally, but I am guessing such a friendly and lively man wouldn't want such a morbid atmosphere at the game. If anything we should appreciate the match experience more than ever because Gary, Mike Dye and all those others who have their lives prematurely ended can't.

I'm as saddened by the tragic death of Gary Speed as the next fan, but life goes on and there is no point being over respectful.
