CREATING CHANCES

Wed Nov 23, 2011 10:03 am

Frustrating first half, but second half we created pots full of good scoring chances and on another day we'd bury most of them. Millar on his own could have scored three. Do think that last quarter of an hour we could have switched to two up front and gone for them, but hey, total trust in Malky and it's a great sign we disappointed in only drawing away.

I have enjoyed this season more than any in recent times.I just hope I can keep my own expectations on a reality check, the work rate and team spirit is spot on, and if we fail at least we'll know they have given their best and that's all we can ask for.

If we need better players, then Malky must be given the funds, he can get the best out of what he got, think what he could do with some of the talent wasting their time in Premireship squads keeping the bench warm or not even making the squad,at their clubs. :ayatollah:

Regardless of the results, the football is just so much more fun this season. No pressure or expectations really, and I hope it stays like that.

We on this forum have been mocked for stressing the importance of passion in the set up, but look what passionate players and management can do in such a short space of time

BigGwynram ยป I agree with your point regarding bringing on another forward to really go for it after all Coventry was a very average team and there for the beating, now does this highlight two possibility's one.Malky was to rigid in his thinking, unwilling to change his formation something that we accused Dave Jones of being two. were we content with the draw from the beginning, bringing on Macca for Kiss was hardly an attacking substitution, now i repeat the above are only my slant on things and would welcome other points of view, but please no verbal abuse
