heard a rumour (vague) that Blackburn/David Goodwillie was approached by CCFC recently.

Now I don't know how true this is But he is struggling to get into the Blackburn 1st team and a bout on loan could do him good?

Was named again as one of 7 subs yesterday but never featured? Will be interesting to see what happens with our cup game and what follows after?

Personally don't see it happening but I am only passing on what was mentioned to me by the same source that told me JLS was coming here last term.

I think he has been seen for what he is, suitable for the SPL. We were lucky not to waste our money on him by all accounts, most reports Ive read have stated he is over rated & his level is SPL.

Bob Hatton seemed to be in the know with Goodwillie stuff.

I For one wanted Goodwillie here when all the talk was going around at the start of the season.

We need to remember that in Jan next year ...the following still has to be sorted out....

Fair enough. I'd be happy if we steer clear of him - for now, at least.

Seems completely possible to me, with Malky and all the scottish connections, that could be a goer.

I was reading an article on Blackburn in one of the Daily rags last week and basically the club is a basket case. The new owners are clueless about football and apparently are offering Steve Kean a new extended contract worth double his present salary.

So who knows this rumour might have more legs than we think

I wouldn't mind it happening as long as Malky thinks he's not the type of player/person to upset the rest of the team....

This could be interesting with regards to Goodwillie,if Kean is still at Blackburn and a deal is done
