The X factor reminds me at times...

Wed Nov 16, 2011 8:50 pm

Of our play and some of our players this season.

A bunch of hopefuls with limited talent grafting away, at times, admirably trying to achieve the success and recognition that is without doubt beyond them. The style of the x-factor appeals to the hopeless saps who sit down to watch it, it's friendly but at times bitchy, much like this joke of a nation, our shit on a stick style of football appeases most fans (not me) with the typical British attitude of "get into them" and "lots of effort" that British football has been held back by for generations.

Miller is your typical x factor contestant, a bit of talent, will give it a go, will he be top of the (scoring) charts, no way! McNaughton is another, people like him as he tries hard, much like a Gareth Gates on pop idol, but will he reach the top? Gates came second to Will young, McNaughton often comes second on the pitch.

Admirable, arguably, will it be successful.... Not a f*cking chance.

Fair play your knowledge of X factor past and present shows your passion for the show. I feel a warm glow inside knowing that even people like you have something to enjoy on a Saturday.

Whats your opinion on that Frankie guy...were they right to sack him
