Thanks Gents Last year my Wife relapsed and when that happens you call your MS nurse. So that is what we did. But it only went to answer machine and it said that the office was closed for 2-3 weeks. Found out that there was 2 Nurses available 1 was on maternity leave and the other was on Holiday Our Doctor knew nothing about MS (most dont) In the end i had no choice but to take her to Casualty. There the consultants also didnt know how to treat her and the only way he could do it was to call the MS team. But as they had the same problem as we did and Caths consultant was also on leave it took them a few hours to ring another MS team in a different part of the Country to be able to treat her.
And now they want to cut back even more. This is why i want as many signatures as possible.

Start one on there, then we can all add it to facebook, etc other forums and such like. The more word gets a around the more people will sign although I don't advise adding the imigration references, some people get quite upset about that.

I remember our TV repair man, we had redifusion cable TV when I was a kid many, many moons ago so saw him very regularly, developed it and it was shocking to see what it does to a person. You and your lady wife have my upmost respect for the way your dealing with this, don't let any of the usual suspects get you down mate, I'm sure if they were in a similar situation they would soon change their attitude. I think you have my name and number in your phone but if not let me know and I'll pm my UK details.

An old mate of mine used to do a lot of fund raising for MS back in SW17 but I haven't seen him for a few years, when I'm back over Christmas I'll see if I can track him down as I'm sure he'd know the people "in the know" and could spread the word.

Might also be worth looking up the Reading guy who posted on here ealier in the week about his web site, see if he can get a few of the Rading lot to sign as well.

Chief thanks for the Post and no i dont have you in my contacts so please PM me. The MS society have there own web page but suprisingly they dont have an on line petition. For some reason they have have decided with paper only, so that is what i am doing.
And to everyone out there Please if you havent PM d me please do so as it really is for a good cause.

And because its for Wales you need to have a Welsh address But good idea about the Reading one though

Make an e-Petition? I signed one a while back to do with Welsh Football. Don't know how to create one but i'll try and find out
