He was the Football League's own Paul Scholes!
You forget how many crackers he did score. I do remember being frustrated with him playing in the DM role a fair amount towards the end of his tenure here though which meant we saw that goal scoring prowess less and less before he left us.

Agree fully with that Zabier. I thought that idea was just about the worst decision made by Lennie Lawence during his time as manager (and lets be fair there is a lot of competition for that title

).
Playing Kav as a DM meant we lost so much from his game including his goals.
Moving on I believe he will make a first class coach/manager one day.

Some great finishes there. I recall a goal he netted v Wycombe in the old div 3 late on at Ninian to win the game 1-0. Bit of a shimmy and cool finish inside the box. Don't think that was on the clip?

Lennie Lawrence was a f8cking prick.
Asked Kav to play that DM role, and never gave Jason Bowen a chance. They were two of our best attacking players.

Lennie Lawrence ruined him beyond belief but still a great guy who loved the club.
I was told he was happy to stay at city and play for free until the end of the season when Wigan came in and got him but the club needed the money. A true gent to speak with

Despite all of Kav's goals we didn't get promoted in his first season and yet we did in his second with him playing deeper and he eventually got an international recall playing that role - maybe Lennie Lawrence was right after all .
Agree about his potential as a manager/coach though.
