BLACKBURN TICKETS BOOKING FEE

Tue Nov 15, 2011 9:42 am

Just phoned up to book and pay for my two Blackburn tickets and have them added to my season ticket card. Find it strange that you get charged £2.50 just to have this added to your card, so why advertise the tickets at £15 if you got to pay more.

Not a major dig because they are great value, just get pissed of by all the add ons, would rather it all be up front and clear, mini rant over. :ayatollah:

It grates on me when they do this. Perhaps someone could take the matter up for us, on behalf of the fans.

Because of the booking fee, I called in the ticket office before the palace game, loaded onto my ST, cost me £15. Lesson to be learned. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Can't understand why it is free if you queue and stand at the window, but £2.50 if you make the same transaction over the phone, and after all you pay for the phone call, so where does the extra expense come from?

I agree with you Gwyn, although great value, I don't like this £1 booking fee and 50p admin fee for every ticket you purchase, it cost me an extra £9 for the last round of the Carling cup against Burnley, it's not good. They would prefer people to buy online so the ticket office is not crowded but then you have to pay for the privilege of it, they should sort it out to be honest. :ayatollah:

its an excuse to bleed extra money out of people and they can legally get away with it,its the same for concert tickets
2 quid booking fee,2 quid admin fee, £1 pound handling costs and extra for postage and packing which wont even come by special delivery,Id rather companies be honest and just say im charging you becuase we can and we are greedy.

its a shame the club are doing this becuase the prices for the blackburn and previous rounds have been very good.

£11.50 for the booking fee for blackburn
It came to £66.50 for 11 tickets under 16 in Canton! :)
I charged them £6 anyway £5 for ticket and £1 booking fee its all fair then!

I think that the whole of the booking fee would go to the club, but if it was added to the admission charge than that would be shared with Blackburn.

May be wrong on this, but it seems the most logical explanation of why it is kept separate, from the admission price
