I Think there will be 1 or more Welsh players in this squad if they get the go ahead ( apart from Bale and Rambo )

TEAM GB , at the millenium stadium .. ?
have i missed something
that surely will not be happening Ever ?
beckham , bale, rambo, bellamy, cowie, millar, marshall, damian duff, giggs ,
and an english defence..

Leaving everything else aside, either this is a serious U23 tournament, or it's not. Brazil, Argentina, Australia etc take it seriously because they do not really have the sort of competative u21s that we have in Europe. Fine. But Beckham making a showbiz appearance? He was a great player, but this is getting silly now

It's an under 23 team with 3 exceptions I think.

why have they announced i the other day then?
also sod paying £52 for something that is just a massive PR stunt, there'll be an actual kit out next year that they will no doubt have on sale to make more money off, making the current shirt useless.

but your son is in the British army Taffy..?
He's not in the Army
Beckham is the Golden Boy of
English FootballI'm not anti-Britain, but class myself as Welsh.
MY OPINION, is that this will be the David Beckham 'thank you' show, from
the whole of Britain for being such a great ambassador for erm, erm......
Not the Welsh part of Britain thats for sure.
BUT.. im not slagging Bale or Ramsey off, its their choice, i got no problem
with it, and it will NOT be damaging to Welsh Football

I'd rather pay £52 for a bj off the queen,
than buy a GB shirt

Have you got the shorts and socks too?
Tue Nov 15, 2011 7:37 pm
His choice if he wants to get it and blow a few bob at the top!

Top Cat CCFC - I got it online for £40 from Sports Direct
CCFC_cotta - Team GB has a fixture at the Millennium Stadium as part of the Olympic schedule and a warm up fixture there.
Griff 105 - no I haven't go the socks and shorts. It is a collectors item and I am British.
rhys1927 - like I said. I am British. it does mean something.
