Its all a smokescreen, Malky is lying to protect his job.

I can't see how anyone can have any real doubt he's had backing. I just think he wants the right players and, after what happened last year, I'm sure the Malaysians agree with that.

I completely think that the Malaysians have another agenda and no speeches from anybody will change my mind unfortunately. This is not a dig as Ive previously said if the Malaysians think they can make money out of it then good luck to them but the dispatches programme backed up my theory. Now whether you or others agree with me or not doesn't bother me really but as you brought me into this debate then I will continue to make my voice heard on my theory until I see different.

The difference with Vincent Tan is he is head of a listed conglomerate with multiple business lines across many countries.

Is here for the fun of it? no and i wouldnt expect him to be

has he invested money? yes and quite a bit as a non controlling shareholder

would he sell? who knows thats his decision after all its his investment

however if he did so one can expect it will be above board not through some dodgy 3rd party he has too much reputational risk for that

is he here for the long term? I think so, there is a lot more CCFC into Malaysia, he wants the gambling licences in Malaysia (we have 000's of Malaysians coming to the 2 casinos in Singapore) and if/when we get to the Premier his exposure is massive through the team which will no doubt further his interests in the leisure industry

Lets just give the Malaysians time, this club is far more stable in teh last few years than it has been in my 40 years of following the City, we should remember that

Well, it's impossible for me to debate whether the "small" amount is small to all of us, only those in the know can discuss amongst themselves. Regarding losing players due to money again it depends what that money is...are players asking for 50K? 40K? 30K? Do you think there should be a limit on what we pay? And what is that limit?
Has the club been made offers under your limit that we have rejected?
