Downloading stuff

What websites / torrents do people use?

I have isohunt and vuze just wondering if anyone knows of any better.

www.bitsoup.org and www.demonoid.me are the best.

Neither are that easy to get an account with, as they only allow so many registrations a day - but once you're in - they are absolutely brilliant. No viruses or dodgy files that look to trap you, as every upload is screened.

once you download films how do you get them on to dvd have you got to have certain programmes??

Baz, putting video files onto DVD is one big pain the in ass.

You might want to look at getting a HD media player mate. I've had one for years and swear by them - they're amazing!

Basically, you buy an external hard drive, copy the movie on to there and then plug your hard drive into the media player.

The media player then connects to your TV through a HDMI cable and you can watch movies through your TV in full 1080p HD.

Can pick them up pretty cheap nowadays...

does it work if you put them straight onto memory stick can you just plug that into your tv or dvd player(i have oner with usb ports)

i store my films on a extenral h/d but put them on a memory stick that plugs into my dvd/srround sound player for viewing. As long as they are avi or common formnat theres no problem. if i can do it anyone can

So avi is the way to do it then I know the new DVD player I just bought does mp4 and it has USB slots

Yes mate, that will work aswell - I started out using USB Drives but got fed up of having to delete stuff - so I just bought an external Hard Drive.

Signed upto bitsoup. What do I use it with? How do I do that? The FAQ ain't working.
