Either way, if Britain wasn't in the European Union, it would still spend massive amounts of money trying to rescue the worlds economy - through the IMF etc. Remember, this country needs Irelands economy to survive, otherwise this country will be fucked.

However, giving massive amounts to countries like Pakistan must stop now.

But Adam, Ireland dont want anything to do with the UK.
I am totally against the aid to Pakistan, which ends up in the wrong hands.

Well Annis, I don't know about that when most of the country wanks over Liverpool/Manure/Chelsea but that's for another day
It's not about sovereignity though - if Irelands economy fully collapsed, then that would result in Britain instantly losing about 20% of its exports - and the effects of that would be even worse than it seems.
It is in Britains best interests to loan money to Ireland if it helps ease the burden. As far as I'm aware, the money given to Ireland has been in the form of loans, meaning this country will make a profit on them in the long run, whilst keeping alive one of the top 5 importers of British goods.

Should the UK stay in the European Union, Yes. However this is something of a mute point when within the UK there are several left wing nutjob groups who wish the Union itself to dissolve so they can be independant![]()
The ultimate plan being the join the EU as a separate country thereby going from being a medium sized player in a small nation to a totally insignificant non entity in a super state. Totally bizarre.

Yes I want out.
I want out because I am fed up of Britain always having to put more money in than most of the other countries and I feel there are to many weak countries in it and in the long run I feel its going to collapse any way.We have lost Millions and Millions trying to save Ireland and Greece.

Why's that Annis? The EU is a in theory a magnificent concept, unfortunately due to various political deals with certain country's with the sole mission of making the whole of Europe left wing, i.e. you agree or get on the train to Siberia it has gone a bit tits up.
It still has a lot of life in it yet and can probably deliver if only the more right wing minded got involved rather than sitting on their arses and laughing.
As to the "Objective 1 funding" there is no such thing, its not EU terminology to start with so someone is telling porkies to the hard of thinking.
Willy.
I was away when Phil Dwyer did his launch of his book.
Where's my books by the way
