Kit missing from the Mikey Dye memorial football match

Wed Nov 09, 2011 3:06 pm

For those who took part in the Cardiff V Swansea Memorial match unfortunately not all the kit was returned looks like 6 full kits and a goalkeeper kit. The kit which was loaned to us is actually being used and if not returned will need to be replaced which could come to a couple of hundred pound coming out of the Mikey Dye fund which is not good.

I'm sure the kit was taken by mistake but if you could return it to the supporters club office next to gate three at the next home game that would be great, or give me a ring and i will collect from you 07814 779441.

Grass!

No seriously I hope you get them all back, that's a fair chunk out of the money that was raised on the day.

You know my sense of humour lads, I'll try and make a joke out of most things, but this is serious, we must out of respect to Mikey and the club get this kit back whatever it takes.

Vince has gone out on a limb to get this from the club and everyone must do their bit to get it back, be very sad and disappointing if this don't happen. :(

I expect that they were taken by mistake but now the right thing is done and the shirts returned.

You'd think the club would let the lads keep the kit as a memento.

The lads that played were all very close to Mikey and big City fans and they will never play a more meaningful game of football for the rest of their lives.

They will treasure that shirt for generations.

I know the club have been great regarding Mikey and if it could be pointed out to them how much the shirt means to the lads, then i'm sure they will go one more step for the cause.

No more negativity on this subject please! :old:

Let the lads hkeep the shirts please :ayatollah:
